The ESTIC Steering Group

ESTIC, is managed by a Steering Group made up of its members, who are elected to serve for a twelve month period at the Consortium Members Event held each year.

The steering group meets bi-monthly, or as necessary, also present is the Strategic Manager and the Implementation Manager,  to ensure that the objectives set out in the Essex, Southend and Thurrock plan are achieved effectively and by the necessary deadline.

The steering group also strategically guides the direction of the Consortium, oversees and manages the work, projects and programmes being undertaken on behalf of the Consortium and provides the links between the wider Consortium and the Regional Advisory group and Change Up East.

The makeup of the Steering Group is a follows: 

• 1 Chair either independent or from consortia
• 1 representative from Essex Association of CVS’s
• 1 representative from Essex Association Volunteer Centres.
• 3 LAA leads for Essex, Southend and Thurrock
• 1 representative Accountable Body
• 4 representatives from specialist infrastructure organisations
• 1 Representative from Essex County Council
• 1 Representative for the five Primary Care Trusts

Following the Consortium Event on the 26^th July 2008, where elections were held, the following people were elected to serve on the ESTIC Steering Group.
